He organised a day on a sailing boat to celebrate our 7th year anniversary.
When we got to the boat everything was there. Champagne was cold, oysters and plenty of sashimi were ready to be enjoyed.
We started sailing through Darling Harbour, crossing under the majestic Harbour Bridge until we came to a stop to admire the beauty of the Sydney Opera House.
Then, while I was admiring the view, Simone disappeared for a few minutes and came back with a beautiful bouquet of roses and a love letter.
I knew that writing a love letter must have been very hard for him, knowing he isn't a man of many words, so I immediately thought that that alone was the best gift he could give me to celebrate the 7 years we've been together...
...but then, as I was about to finish reading, I realised that the real gift was the proposal of a lifetime together! I started crying with tears of joy as Simone took out the ring and kneeled, rose petals started flying on the boat deck. It was magical.
